clinical supervision with carmen jelly

A Space to Reflect, Grow and Develop Your Own Therapeutic Voice
Clinical supervision with Carmen Jelly is available for Registered Psychotherapists and therapists in the Qualifying stage.
With more than 30 years of front-line experience and extensive experience as a clinical supervisor, Carmen offers supervision that goes beyond professional requirements. It is a space to reflect, ask questions, deepen self-awareness, and develop greater confidence in the way you work with clients.
Therapeutic work can sometimes feel isolating. Supervision offers an opportunity to slow down, connect, and explore both the clinical work and the person you bring into the therapy room.
Whether you meet individually, dyadically, or in a group, the goal is to help you become a more grounded, attuned, confident, and authentic therapist.
A COLLABORATIVE, HOLISTIC APPROACH
Supervision That Goes Beyond the Checklist
Carmen’s supervision style is collaborative, integrative, and grounded in curiosity.
This may be a good fit if you are looking for more than a rigid or manualized approach to therapy and want support developing a practice that feels authentic to you.
Together, you may explore not only what you are doing with clients, but how you are showing up in the therapeutic relationship — your presence, intuition, reactions, strengths, uncertainties, and the patterns that may influence your work.
The intention is not to turn you into a particular kind of therapist.
It is to help you develop your own therapeutic identity while strengthening your clinical judgment, confidence, and ability to use yourself safely and effectively in the therapeutic process.

support at different stages of development
Supervision That Grows With You
Clinicians need different kinds of support at different at different stages of their practice. The Clinical Growth Circle and Reflective Consultation Circle were designed to address these differing support needs.
Clinical Growth Circle
For early-career clinicians building confidence and developing their clinical identity.
This series is designed for students, Qualifying Registered Psychotherapists, and clinicians in the early years of practice who are strengthening their clinical foundation.
Focus areas include:
- Building confidence as a therapist
- Case conceptualization and treatment planning
- Clinical decision-making
- Navigating challenging client situations
- Developing therapeutic skills and interventions
- Managing self-doubt and imposter syndrome
- Building a sustainable and fulfilling practice
This is a supportive space to ask questions, receive feedback, and grow alongside peers who are navigating similar stages of professional development.
Reflective Consultation Circle
For clinicians ready to deepen their practice.
While generally intended for therapists with five or more years of clinical experience, this series is designed for clinicians seeking something beyond traditional supervision.
Private practice can be deeply rewarding, but it can also feel isolating. Therapists spend their days holding space for others, yet often have few opportunities to slow down, reflect, and be supported by colleagues who truly understand the work.
The Reflective Consultation Circle is designed to be that space. It is a place to:
- Bring complex cases
- Explore clinical uncertainty
- Reflect on therapist responses and countertransference
- Share wisdom and experience
- Think deeply with trusted colleagues
- Reconnect with passion and purpose in the work
Because therapists need spaces where they can continue to reflect, connect, and grow.
Whether you are developing confidence as a newer clinician, navigating complex clinical work, or seeking deeper reflection after years in practice, supervision offers a space for continued growth.
My goal as a supervisor is to provide thoughtful challenge, compassionate support, and a place where you can continue becoming the therapist you aspire to be. Good supervision creates the conditions for therapists to grow—not only in what they do, but in how they show up.
